Tenth Viking Charge [ Video]

[Astrid is carefully setting a series of pokemon eggs into a little pile as the camera turns on. She glances over at the camera as she finishes, and then back to the pile, doing a quick count before.]

Okay, so, apparently my pokemon finally decided to dump a bunch of eggs on me. Well, more than just a bunch of sheep anyway. And hey, this time we can give those away!

Unless they change their mind.

Anyway. [She dusts her hands off.] If anyone wants them, they're for sale, there are...[She's really not as good at this as Hiccup.] Some birds, some sheep, a couple shinx, and I think...that's a whale egg.

Because that makes perfect sense.

Anyway, let me know. Otherwise I'll probably just donate them to that breeding place.

Right, and once again this world's so called logic is as stupid as ever. Should be used to it by now.

[Maybe she should consider this, because she's been looking for a new water monster type.]

You should've seen it hatch. Nothing about that made sense either.

[Astrid is still a little put off by Ball. She hadn't known what the egg was until it suddenly burst into a whale.]

Dare I even ask...? I think I could imagine the situation if I tried, considering how many Pokémon I've raised from eggs. But that's still weird.

Well, I could hold the egg in my arms...but ball was six feet tall when she was born.

[Just wrap your head around that, Winry.]

[First sounds normal, people can probably do that to most if not all eg-- ...Wait, what? Congratulations, you wonderful girl have officially break her brain with that. She's quiet for a long moment.]

...That's... Insane. [Why can't this world have logic? Why?! It's not your fault, it's just a question.] So, when it evolves, it's huge?

Yup, but I watched it happen.

[She nods.]

Supposedly. Ball hasn't gotten a high enough level to evolve yet, so she's still only about six feet wide.

I believe you, really, it's just quite [a shock] surprising.

[Hmmm. Whales. She has at least read about them, possibly seen some around while she's been in this world. Twice, but anyway.]

Hmm, so assuming that they are huge... It definitely sounds like it would be a much better option for surfing than an Audino or a sea lion.

[Annoyed sound from an Audino, who just happens to be near her. She's the best surfer, so shut up, Winry!]

If you look at how big they're supposed to be, you could probably build a house on it if you really wanted.

Yeah, all the space for either building a house or taking all of our friends over the waters. That'd be fun.

[...She's getting a little too excited with all of her ideas here...]

Huh? You mean did anyone buy it? No, it's still here.

Alright, sure. [Astrid grins.] Might as well make sure someone else can be as confused by their whale as I am.

Hee, I'll try not to hold the egg on the moment it hatches, thanks for the warning. And I promise I'll confuse my friends with it too, assuming they've never seen one before.

They breed with the weirdest combination of pokemon too, so you might wind up with some more to spread around.

I hope so, because I'm a breeder and I want to spread the love for giant surfers.

[Astrid still didn't really understand those computer things.]

Yeah. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I've received some eggs through that system... So, at least it works somehow. [Winry doesn't quite understand them either.] The staff at the Centers should know about it, so it should be easy.

Nice to meet you too. I'll let you and the world know when it hatches, if my gear happens to be anywhere near at that moment.

[Hopefully your egg won't wind up on the moon, Winry.]

I'll try, and hope that this one won't evolve in the middle of a city?

[Because that - that would be a nightmare.]

Yeah...that's kind of the reason I've let Ball take a break from training, I'm not...really sure what to do with her if she evolves.

[usedwrench]

Build that house on it? [Winry grins. Just kidding, and using your ideas.] Or enjoy relaxing summer days on a whale while local people use boats and ferries to go across the waters. Or surf anywhere with huge speed.

[...she'll let the grin fade, and just smiles. Anyone can do the last option with any of these creatures who learn Surf.]

No, but seriously speaking, I can see how a huge evolution like that could be a problem, unless you lived near the sea.

Yeah. I guess once she does evolve, she'll have to stay in her pokeball most of the time.

[Astrid tends to never leave her pokemon in their balls if possible.]

Seems kind of mean.

[Neither does Winry.]

It is mean, especially if they don't realize their own size and come up with their own reasons for it.

[It kind of reminds her of how she hates waiting when certain boys don't contact her at all. But she knows their reasons, and staying home is safe.]

Just have to make them up for it whenever they're out of the ball, yeah?
