[Astrid is in Ecruteak, and she looks...puzzled. She's frowning at her gear absently as she starts to talk.]

Okay. So, I've learned to deal with a lot here, really. Riding on the back of a giant bird, eggs that hatch into dogs, animals that get 'knocked out' instead of killed.

Ghost masks that make you think you're other people and no I am never going to talk about that.

Ghosts in general. I caught a ghost! He looks like a furry floating dark thing that grins. Which is weird. It's all weird.

But I think...this sort of wins.

[She turns the camera away now, to where her Wailmer is sitting on the ground looking gigantic and very happy. He sort of wiggles at the camera in what might be an attempt at a tail wag.]

He hatched from an egg that I could hold in my hands. Egg to that. He's HUGE. [And back to Astrid.] The 'Ball Whale Pokemon.' Seriously? And the strangest thing? Someone mailed me the egg. Anonymously. Someone looked at this and thought 'I'm going to give this whale thing to the viking girl.'

[She just shakes her head.]

I think I'm gonna name him 'Ball.'

He can't exactly speak to tell me what name he wants.

[She shrugs and turns to the whale.]

[Whether responding to her voice, or the name, who knows...but the wailmer promptly...bounces...over to her. She just sighs and reaches up to give him a pat.] Good boy.

Well, he did come to that name so he must not hate it. *Imogen has finally pulled back from the camera so you can see all of her face.*

Speaking of names, do you have one? Other than 'Viking Girl'?

They usually like the names I come up with. [She sounds a little defensive. Why do people always hate her names?]

Uh, yeah. I'm Astrid.

Soooooo... a viking? Is it all plundering and horned hats at home? Are they cute hats? *She does not seem to realize how inappropriate her questions are.*

Mostly it was pointy hats and dragon fighting. We...didn't really do a lot of plundering? Or...any...plundering.

Weird, my history books had a lot about vikings plundering and pillaging.

But then again it didn't mention dragons.

They're probably wrong, I mean who do I trust a stupid book or a real viking.
