Eleventh Viking Charge [ Video]

[When the camera clicks on, rather than show Astrid, it shows a wide, grassy field. About twenty feet away, sitting in the grass, is Hiccup, next to his Salamance, apparently talking to it and not doing anything else. After maybe thirty seconds of this, the gear turns around to reveal Astrid, looking rather annoyed. Her Sentret, Fuzzball, is perched on her shoulder.]

I need to know how to snap a stupid boy out of a funk.

All he does is sit around staring at his gear or talking to his dragon or talking about that Clair trainer! Or talking to his dragon about that Clair trainer. Or just sitting there thinking about that Clair trainer! That's it!

[No she's not jealous, shut up.]

He's not training enough or doing anything and keeping his attention for more than five minutes is impossible!

[She almost shouts that last bit, and then catches herself and sighs.]

I just need to snap him out of it, that's all.

Yeah, pretty much that.

One of them being stupid for you too?

[She stays quiet a few moments, before speaking gently.] He.. wanted to date someone else. I'll just say he's dumb and charming beyond belief in that I'm still sad about it.

Dumb and charming and feels terrible that I'm sad but he's happy with who he chose, and they're both happy, so. [bluh.]

...Oh.

Okay, that's a lot worse than this. Hiccup's just being stupid.

[What? Astrid admit feelings about something? nooo.]

[Jane laughs it off, back to blowing off her own feelings on that topic.]

So he's just really interested in Clair. Do you think there's a reason why? She's a dragon trainer and the strongest leader in Johto are the only things I really know about her.

Yeah...it's the 'dragon' thing.

Hiccup is obsessed with them.

If they're something only from here, maybe you can show how skilled you are with them, to remind him that Clair has had her whole life of working with dragons, where you - I am assuming you have dragon types yourself - have only had so long and are just as good, if not a better trainer?

Yeah, Heather suggested that too.

I'm gonna go kick her butt.

I wish you luck then! The only advice I can offer is that dragons are weak to each other and ice. Any that are part flying will be weak to rock too.

Yeah, I have a few dragons, and I've taught a few guys ice moves, I shouldn't have a problem.

I have outleveled most of the gyms, really.

Hoo hoo, then its going to be less luck and more like taking her down several pegs.
